In recent years though, a waning interest in canned fish, compounded by increasingly aggressive competitors – in and out of category – all seeking to capitalise on a more health-conscious population, has contributed to a decline in market share. JEKBEE was tasked with making John West the go-to protein source for people everywhere.
Reposition John West from ‘canned commodity’ to ’nutrition brand’. This involved major cross-departmental coordination, with our team breathing new life into a business model and mindset incompatible with the digital age. From the look and feel of the website, through to a complete strategic overhaul, JEKBEE was able to successfully put the new face of John West in front of a new audience, while yielding a healthy financial return.
